Ruby Ribbed Scrunchie – Free Crochet Pattern
Hello and welcome! Every year I have some small yarn buster projects that I like to make, such as scrunchies, hanging baskets, or coasters. So it’s Scrunchie season and this year I wanted to switch things up a bit. All my previous patterns have included ribbing, so of course I had to do a Ribbed Scrunchie!!
I am really happy to introduce my newest free crochet pattern, The Ruby Ribbed Scrunchie. This fun and easy scrunchie pattern is easily adaptable and can be finished in 1 to 3 colors. The pattern can also be completed in any texture of yarn as well. So enjoy!

Ruby Ribbed Scrunchie Crochet Pattern
(US Crochet terms)
Supplies:
– Hair tie (elastic)
– Bulky Yarn (5 ply) [ 1 – 3 colors ]
– Crochet hook – size 6.0 mm
– Stitch Marker(s)
– Yarn Needle
– Scissors
Abbreviations:
dc = Double Crochet
Fpdc = Front Post Double Crochet
slst = Slip Stitch
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Skill Level:
Easy

Crochet Pattern Instructions
(US Crochet terms)
(multiples of 3 sts)
Round 1: 36 dc onto the hair tie, join to first stitch. (36)
Round 2: 1 dc and 1 fpdc in the same stitch, { 2 dc and 1 fpdc in the same stitch } x 15 around, 1 dc to join to first stitch. (108)
Cut & Sew in Ends and you are finished!
